1. No Analytics, Cookies, or Third-Party Trackers
Edge Notes does not set any tracking cookies, does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and does not embed external fonts or CDN assets. Your browser communicates solely with edge.paramora-server.ru to retrieve static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SVG icons, and the local feed snapshot.
2. 100% Client-Side Tool Execution
All utilities in Edge Tools—including the IPv4/IPv6 Subnet Calculator, JSON Formatter, URL/Base64 Utility, and SHA-256 Checksum Generator—execute exclusively inside your browser's JavaScript engine and Web Crypto API (crypto.subtle.digest):
- Files selected in the SHA-256 generator are read into local browser memory via the standard
FileReaderAPI and are never uploaded over the network. - JSON payloads, Base64 strings, and CIDR blocks entered into the tools remain strictly inside your browser tab.
3. Local Theme Preference Storage
If you toggle between the Dark and Light color themes, your preference (`"dark"` or `"light"`) is saved in your browser's local `localStorage` under the key edge_notes_theme. This value is never transmitted to the server.
4. External Outbound Links
Curated stories on the Home and News pages link directly to third-party websites and code repositories (such as GitHub, LWN.net, kernel.org, and Hacker News). All external links include rel="noopener noreferrer". Once you follow an external link, the destination site's privacy policy applies.
